Yesterday was Mother's Day. Joe had to work so my morning was spent with Aaron. I guess you could say that I spent Mother's Day being a mother. It was the highlight of my day. He is such a good baby and I am so blessed.
In he car, he is happy.
In the tub, he is happy.
Hanging out on the floor on his blanket, he is happy.
He did wake up at 2:00am crying for some weird reason. We don't rise till 6:00am in the Pinkelton house and after about 20 minutes he went back to sleep. But it is all good. He is a baby afterall.
I don't think it is fair that the holiday is about the mom. Without Aaron I would not be one.
Joe came home around 9:00 and my real celebration could begin. Sitting on the sofa with him watching Sunday night cartoons is what I consider a good night. Tonight we do dinner at my choice of restaurant.
Allow me to brag and say that with this family, everyday is Mother's Day.
